Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life.
Few statements have been as powerful or had more of an impact on the foundation and evolution of our studio. Both Emily and I fell in love with photography at a very early age and although we shared a passion, the individual paths that lead us to become the photographers we are today were exceedingly unique. You can read all about my journey and Emily’s journey but before you do, learn a little more about the road we’ve traveled together.
By the time Emily and I met, we were working in very different areas of photography and yet we each had an enthusiasm for shooting that had flourished over the years into nothing short of a life’s pursuit. Emily was specializing in editorial, fashion and lifestyle portraiture whereas I was predominantly photographing weddings and corporate events. Each of us was excited to learn more about a style of photography that we had not yet experienced first hand. Equipped with unique experiences and diverse talents and with photography as our common bond, we believed that our chance meeting could develop into a great business opportunity. Little did we know that fate had a grander plan for us.
Initially long conversations led to creative ideas, those ideas led to avant-garde projects, those projects led to collaboration with all of it eventually leading to love. A continued love of all things photographic, a growing love of working side by side as a photography team and ultimately a devout love for one another as husband and wife.
