Since the alternative is using a photo from an evening out with friends in which you somewhat strategically crop out said friends, beverages and neon Coors Light signage; can you really afford NOT to have a head shot?
Since Lauren is in the wedding and events industry, her and Cory's wedding weekend was exquisitely planned down to the final detail; every i was dotted and every t crossed. After their elegant ceremony everyone shuffled and wobbled their way into the early hours of the morning!
Allie recalled walking into the Piazza in the Village and saying, "This is where I will be married!" First things first though, before the wedding it was time to capture her bridal photos. Her gown was exquisite, her hair and makeup beautiful. She was radiant, confident and each new scene was Allie and her mom's favorite.
Shelby mentioned to Michelle that she wanted to leave a note on THE truck. She could never bring herself to leave the note, that is, until Valentine's Day 2011. Fueled by the prospect of love, and a few glasses of wine, Shelby left a note that simply read, "Love the Truck. Call Me, Shelby".
Kendra and Brian met three years ago at school. She played a little hard to get for the first six months. Kendra eventually accepted Brian's invitation for dinner at P.F. Changs. Fast forward to New Years Eve 2010. They returned to that same restaurant and it was there that he proposed. This time, Kendra did not play hard to get.
Becca loves to hunt, fish and to just hang out with the boys much of the time. On the day we met her at The Luxe Stoneleigh Hotel & Spa for her bridal session she was most certainly not just one of the guys. Becca was all woman...a confident, elegant, beautiful bride whose fashion inspired images are some of my new favorites.

A short time ago, Billie called to tell us the hotel was joining the Luxe Hotels family and asked that we photograph the official ribbon cutting and relaunch party. We were elated! A beautiful historic hotel with modern style and flare in Dallas' uptown area was about to evolve and we get to photograph it. SCORE! Allow us to present, The LUXE Stoneleigh Hotel & Spa.
As a part of a give-away at The Adolphus' Haute Weddings bridal show, Carrie won a complimentary session with us. We met her at The City Club in Fort Worth and had a wonderful time photographing her bridal portraits.
Driven by the immense popularity of Pinterest and in an effort to facilitate the creation of inspiration boards, Emily and I have created a brand new blog post category we are calling, "The Details". Today's entry is all about bridal bouquets (as I am sure you could surmise by the post's title). The collection below are some of our favorite bouquets from the past year. Be inspired and happy pinning.
