Thursday Therapy is AWESOME! It is a monthly opportunity for members of the wedding and event industry to mix, mingle and share. November's meeting added a cool new element for us since we were the host venue. That's right, we hosted Thursday Therapy in our shiny new studio in Richardson. We had food and beverage, we had music, we had a great turn out and a great time.
Kaylee loved the exposed brick and historic vibe at the Flour Mill in McKinney and fell in love with a stunning Mori Lee bridal gown that fit her like a glove. Add a white leather and crystal accented statement piece and you have all the makings for EPIC bridal photos.
We have known Diana since she moved in next door and have known Mike since they met and started dating. So, yeah, you can say we're attached. I don't mean that figuratively either, their townhouse is literally attached to ours.
Let's say you have a bride that graduated from Southern Methodist University and now works for the SMU athletics department. Add the fact that she is marrying a man that is also an SMU alum. Finally, imagine they have an adorable dog named Doak (after the legendary SMU quarterback Doak Walker)
What do you get when you put together a Mediterranean villa inspired wedding venue, a stunning bride and gorgeous light? You get epic bridal photos! We had the pleasure of capturing Allison's bridal photos at Aristide Event Center. She was a joy to work with and a radiant beauty inside and out! Stay tuned, their wedding blog post is making its way into the rotation very soon.
Lana and Jeff's caring, respect and admiration for one another was apparent and there was an abundance of love surrounding them. We came to learn that these are special people with very special stories about strength and devotion. Congratulations, Lana and Jeff, on your new marriage and for a life overflowing with love.
Michael asked for her hand during a Texas Rangers game and the proposal involved a large handmade sign and even the Rangers mascot. As we began chatting about where to capture their engagement photos it became quickly evident that returning to Rangers Ballpark in Arlington just made the most sense.
Although they were living in Dallas when we first chatted with them, Theresa and Dick met in Fort Worth on a charity pub crawl of all places. Let's take a moment to acknowledge what a tremendous idea this is! Ok, now we can carry on. We love these two and we love Fort Worth.
We had the honor of photographing the Perot Museum of Nature and Science Donor Appreciation event just before it officially opened to the public and were just as impressed by the event as we were the museum. An expertly crafted menu, perfectly paired wines and impeccable service left an indelible mark on the guests.
